Fugitives Casslyn Welch and John McCluskey arrested

Two of the most wanted criminals within the nation, John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch, have been arrested. People are making comparisons between the two and Bonnie and Clyde. They escaped less than a month ago from Arizona State Prison, and are on the run since. The pair were suspected to are in Yellowstone National Park, and as far south as Arkansas. They were in an Arizona State Park when a Park Ranger called in their stolen vehicle’s license plate number, leading to their apprehension.

Criminals found by not knowing Ranger

An unnamed Park Ranger made the catch. He was on patrol in Apache Sitgreaves National Forest. As outlined by ABC, he saw an unattended fire and a suspiciously parked auto. He called within the license plate. When it came back stolen, he alerted police. Officers arrived to take them into custody, and they found the people who had the car were the two fugitives. John McCluskey told officers after the arrest that he would have fired on officers had he been able to get to the gun in his tent. McCluskey and his fiancĂ© Casslyn Welch, who’s also his cousin, were taken without event.

Large hunt is over

John McCluskey and Casslyn Welch didn’t break out alone. Inmates Daniel Renwick and Tracy Province went with them. Province and Renwick were captured soon after, and McCluskey and Welch were spotted in Yellowstone National Park and in Butte, Mon. Butte was the last sighting of the two. McCluskey and Welch are thought to be connected to the murder of Gary and Linda Haas in New Mexico, as outlined by the Associated Press. The bodies of the Haases were found in their burnt trailer around Aug. 4. The stolen car Welch and McCluskey were driving had New Mexico plates.

Clyde and Bonnie were not actually like Clyde and Bonnie also

There is an idiotic notion that something is romantic about Bonnie and Clyde. Bonnie and Clyde weren’t very romantic either; Clyde was gay, and they stole money from the people that cheered them before the FDIC existed. Those two belong behind bars. The ranger who called police is to be commended.
